Why coaching?

I think a lot of times we get inspired by things and we think it will translate into big improvements in our life. Sometimes we go to an inspiring workshop or read an inspiring book, and then it is over and we make big plans...but in days the impact wears off.

With coaching, we have someone fully committed to helping us take action, achieve goals and make change.

In Barbara Sher's famous book, WishCraft: How to Get What You really Want, she spoke to having support as the number one factor for achieving your goals and dreams. She said that isolation is the dream killer and that "When you play it too safe, you’re taking the biggest risk of your life. Time is the only wealth we’re given.”

So, is it time to get started?

Coaches aren't know-it-all experts or gurus...they don't tell you what to do. They ask good questions and hold you accountable. They help you connect with your true priorities and guide you to put in place steps that will help you to really achieve what you want.

Many people who invest in coaching believe it is vital to their success, to their big steps, to their achievements and yes, ultimately, to enhancing their fulfillment. The coach helps to close the gap between where one is and where one wants to be.

Maybe a coach will

  • help you become aware of self-imposed limitations
  • support you to follow a dream or fulfill an ambition
  • help you get unstuck
  • give you permission to enhance your self-care
  • inspire you to believe in yourself and stay authentic
  • help you get organized and manage your time
  • help you find peace and calm
  • remind you to "stand tall" and not feel "less than"
  • help you cultivate an inspired family life
  • clarify your purpose or mission and then take steps to manifest it
  • support you with a career transition or a new enterprise
  • help you navigate a relationship challenge
  • encourage you to live a passionate, extraordinary life
  • help you commit to vibrant, healthy lifestyle habits
  • encourage you to find more joy and reduce stress
